Skills Camp Directors


Jefferson Roblee

A Kansas City native, Jefferson was the assistant boys’ and girls’ soccer coach at Liberty High School ‘94-’97. He was a frequent instructor at various youth and high school camps throughout the Kansas City metropolitan area. He now works with all KC PACE teams and is one of three directors of the Kansas City Skills Camp. Jefferson is also an evaluator for the Olympic Development Program at the Missouri Youth Soccer Association district and state levels. Co-Founder of the KC PACE soccer teams in 1995, Jefferson has helped guide the Kansas City based squads to various league, district, and tournament championships. In recent years, KC Pace squads have become regular participants at national tournaments and college showcase events. A former player at the University of Tulsa, Jefferson grew up playing club soccer on George Derra’s UHS Apollos (Kansas City). He was also a member of the Missouri/Kansas City O.D.P. team. A standout at Winnetonka High School, Jefferson was elected to the school’s Soccer Hall of Fame in 1995. He and his twin brother Lincoln are enthusiastic fans of attractive, skillful soccer. Their history as creative players and their ability to teach others has made them a valuable ingredient in Kansas City’s progressive soccer scene.


Lincoln Roblee

Coach of all three KC PACE squads, Lincoln is also one of three directors of the Kansas City Skills Camp. The Kansas City native has been very active in excelling the sport to boys and girls of all ages in the area since he began coaching in 1994. Always eager to teach others, Lincoln introduces and encourages players to develop an understanding for the skillful, entertaining aspect of the sport. A constant presence at Kansas City’s premiere soccer events, he has also evaluated at the state level for the Olympic Development Program. From ’94-’97 Lincoln enjoyed a very successful tenure as an assistant coach at Park Hill High School (Kansas City). His passion, commitment, and experience made him an asset at numerous local camps and clinics. Lincoln also directed the popular SPCAA “Fun Soccer” for boys and girls ages 4-5 years old. Co-Founder of the KC PACE club teams in 1995, Lincoln has helped establish a Kansas City based team that competes at a national level. In the past 3 years, the 80/81 team has clashed vs. USYSA National, Region II, Region III, and Region IV Champions or Runners-up. Lincoln played college soccer at the University of Tulsa. In his youth soccer Lincoln excelled on the UHS Apollos coached by George Derra. Lincoln also was a member of the Missouri O.D.P. state team. He shined in high school at Winnetonka H.S. where he earned numerous honors. In 1995 Lincoln was elected to the Winnetonka Soccer Hall of Fame.


Burke Slusher

A native of Kansas City, Burke Slusher has coached the KC PACE 80/81 squad since their first indoor game in 1996. A goalkeeper himself, Burke is the KC PACE goalkeeping coach and serves as one of three directors of the Kansas City Skills Camp. Burke grew up in Kansas City and played club soccer with the UHS Apollos coached by George Derra. Burke attended North Kansas City High School and played under current NKC coach Dave Valasquez. He also was a member of the Missouri / Kansas City O.D.P. team. After earning numerous honors at NKCHS, Burke moved on to Southwest Missouri State University where he tended goal for the NCAA Division I Bears under coaches Jan Stahle and Tom Howe. An outstanding technical instructor, Burke’s training sessions require discipline, commitment, and athletic bravery. His proteges are easily identified and are a joy to watch. Miscellaneous: Burke, a second generation American, has an uncle on the board of directors of Shamrock F.C. (Ireland).
