Jefferson Roblee
Lincoln Roblee
-
Former players at the University of Tulsa, Lincoln Roblee and Jefferson Roblee are very involved with soccer in their native Kansas City. Besides having coached the 87/88 KC Pace (MO) to numerous successes across the Midwest, the twin brothers have also worked with elite college players including some who have been drafted or signed professionally by Major League Soccer, the A-League, and the Major Indoor Soccer League.
The Roblee brothers coached KC United (KS) to U19 youth and U20 amateur state championships in 2000 and 2001. They have also been Missouri ODP coaches since 2001 and have coached the Kansas City Brass (PDL) since 2002. In addition, Jefferson is the creator and director of the Wizards (MLS) Youth Training Program and also coordinates the Wizards' annual Kansas versus Missouri High School Senior All-Star games.
Burke Slusher
- A native of Kansas City, Burke Slusher
has coached the KC PACE 80/81
squad since their first indoor game in 1996. A goalkeeper himself, Burke is the KC PACE goalkeeping coach and serves as one of three directors of the Kansas City Skills Camp.
Burke grew up in the Kansas City and played club soccer with the UHS
Apollos coached
by George Derra. Burke attended North Kansas City High School and played under current NKC coach Dave Valasquez. He also was a member of the Missouri / Kansas City O.D.P. team. After earning numerous honors at NKCHS, Burke moved on to Southwest Missouri State University where he tended goal for the NCAA Division I Bears under coaches Jan Stahle and Tom Howe.
An outstanding technical instructor, Burke’s training sessions require discipline, commitment, and athletic bravery. His proteges are easily identified and are a joy to watch.
Miscellaneous: Burke, a second generation American, has an uncle on the board of directors of Shamrock F.C. (Ireland).
